Nuit Blanche, translating to white night is a sunset to sunrise celebration of contemporary art which attracts a million people to the city streets. The event occurs around the world in cities like Berlin, Paris and Tel Aviv and continues to push the boundaries of art in public space. Torontonians first participated in the event in 2006 and every year since it has drawn hundreds of thousands of curious people out in the middle of the night to be intrigued, inspired and amazed.
